The Minister for Sport Jack Chambers, Senator Erin McGreehan and Councillor John Sheridan at their recent visit to Ardee Golf Club, pictured with Chairman Brendan Healy, Grounds Convenor Pat Duff and Club Captain Ronan Phipps.
The club has benefitted from significant Sports Capital Grants in 2019 and 2020 in support of the purchase of new machinery and towards the first phase of a two part Development Plan adopted by the members that will see the Practice Facilities relocated closer to the clubhouse car park providing year round facilities for existing members and making golf more accessible to the local community in an effort to attract new talent and sustain membership into the future. The Development Plan will also see the completion of the remaining 7 greens to USGA standard.
The Club Captain presented the Minister and the Senator with a copy of the club's Centenary Book depicting the history of the club.
The Team conveyed their thanks to the Minister on behalf of the members for the support received through the Sports Capital Programme and the impact it will have on future-proofing the clubs facilities.

Congratulations to Evan Farrell on recently winning the 2022 Balbriggan Scratch Cup beating a strong field of elite players to lift the trophy. Evan shot rounds of 68 and 75 to win by 3 strokes.
