A Mature 18 Hole Parkland Course

The Golf Course dates back to 1911 and is a course that is very popular with golfers of all abilities. The maturity of the course and the setting make Ardee an enchanting place for a round of golf. It is a traditionally styled course yet a challenging venue and is one of the most impressive courses in Ireland, in a word outstanding.

There are plenty of inspiring and interesting holes which offer a combination of unique tight par 5's and long and short par 4's. The course really has everything for the beginner right up to the seasoned Pro.

There have been many major improvements over the past 100 years and in 2012 significant work was done to improve the drainage on the course which has resulted in very few days of golf being lost over wet greens or fairways. Essentially our course is open all year round and only links courses can rival us for fewer days lost as a result of poor weather conditions. In 2017 and 2018 fours greens were reconstructed, with two more completed in 2019 with the prospect for others to follow. These improvements have enhanced and strengthened the course’s quality and will be exciting additions to an already excellent layout.
