I feel very privileged to be thePresident of Ardee Golf Club in this our Centenary Year 2011.

I would like to pay tribute to our Founding Members, Past Captains, Officers and Committee members who, over the years, have given so freely of their time and contributed so much to the development of our club.

Because of their dedication Ardee has a well deserved reputation, not only for the quality of its course and greens, but also for the friendly welcome it extends to its visitors.

I would also like to compliment the members of our staff, past and present for the great contribution they have made to the on-going success of the club.

Ardee has always been a close-knit family club with strong traditions which we are happy to pass on to the next generation. Looking at the calibre of our younger members I have no doubt that these traditions will be fostered and maintained as Ardee Golf Club continues to grow and prosper.

As we look forward to the centenary celebrations I would like to wish Captain Brendan, Lady Captain Kathyrn, Lady President Edie and the committee members a very successful and enjoyable year and to all our members a great years golf.
