The existing clubhouse was opened in 2003 by the then Captain Noel Malone accompanied by The President of the Golfing Union of Ireland Michael O Donoghue and Ita Butler The President of The Irish ladies Golfing Union.

Ardee Golf Club’s objective was to create a contemporary structure that would be unique within the golfing establishment of Ireland. What was achieved was a masterfully designed clubhouse that  exudes a warn welcome and blends effortlessly into the landscape.

As one approaches the main entrance you are greeted with a combination of the historical aspect of the club in the form of the pictures of former Captains and Presidents and the winning pennants and cups. However it is the portraits at the top of the elegant stairway of Peter McDonnell, Fr Shane Cullen and Paddy Taaffe that catch your immediate attention. These portraits by renowned artist Padraig Lynch were commissioned by their friends to honour their considerable contribution to the success of Ardee Golf Club.

The first floor also houses the Professional Shop which upon entry displays one of the most impressive shopping experiences in the region. The resident Golf professional Scott Kirkpatrick who has been providing the service for over a decade has ensured that the interior of the golf shop meets the demands of the members and visitors alike with a combination of prominent golf club and clothing displays.

Upon entry to the locker rooms you are greeted with a spacious area of hardwood lockers and opulent showering facilities. The design of the locker rooms is intended to give you a sense of comfort and dignity at the end of your game of golf.

Located on the second floor is the lounge and restaurant. The second storey sets up views primarilyto the golf course through large glass windows and an expansive balcony with a spacious patio. The doors to the balcony open up to a stunning view of the 18th green and accompanied with a view of the clubhouse garden below it leaves you in an area where after dinner drinks should be enjoyed in the Summer.

The restaurant under the service provider of Edmund and Breige Mathews is a comfortable eating and drinking establishment. Historical documents and pictures adorn the walls and the two large screen televisions in the lounge are viewable for all sporting events. The mix of good food and relaxed atmosphere makes the restaurant a perfect place to share with your friends your Ardee Golf experience.

Today the clubhouse provides a wide variety of options for members and community events, dining and social activities. Complementing this excellent facility are unsurpassed views of the Ardee landscape and coupled with the views of the golf course it makes for a very enjoyable experience.
