The course itself boasts a number of feature holes, in particular the par-3 thirteenth, which challenges the golfer with a carry of more than 180 yards over water, in order to reach the green safely.

Then there is the long dogleg par-5 fourteenth, which is 542 yards long and believed to be the only index-1 par-5 in Leinster. With the positioning of the green, nestled as it is in the surrounding woodland, the relatively short par-4 sixteenth is a treat, requiring two precision shots in order to reach the green in regulation.
